  • At what age can I take my puppy home?
    Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. This allows them adequate time to develop proper social and behavioral skills with their littermates and it is the law.
  • What is included with my puppy when I take it home?
    Each puppy goes home with a full veterinary health check, up-to-date vaccinations, deworming and a puppy starter kit that includes food, a blanket with the mother’s scent, and basic care instructions.
  • How do I reserve a puppy from your upcoming litter?
    To reserve a puppy, you will need to fill out our puppy application. This secures your spot in line for a puppy from the desired litter. Please note that the order of contact/application submission determines the order of deposit placement and pick of the litter.
  • Do you offer any health guarantees?
    Yes, we offer a health guarantee that covers genetic conditions. If a puppy is found to have a life-threatening genetic defect within the first year, we will offer a replacement puppy or a refund, depending on the circumstances.
  • Can I choose the puppy’s color and sex?
    You can specify your preference for color and sex, but availability is dependent on the specific litter. We will do our best to match you with your preferred puppy, but we recommend being open to other options.
  • How do you determine the temperament of each puppy?
    We do not offer formal temperament testing. However, through daily interactions and observations, we gain a good sense of each puppy’s personality, which allows us to help guide you in selecting a puppy that matches your family’s lifestyle and needs.

    We do not offer training services for our puppies. However, we can provide recommendations for reputable trainers if you're interested in additional training for your puppy.
  • Do you spay/neuter the puppies before they go home?
    We do not spay or neuter puppies before they go home. We recommend discussing the appropriate timing for spaying or neutering with your veterinarian based on your puppy’s individual health and development.
  • What should I feed my Labrador puppy?
    We recommend feeding a high-quality puppy food that is formulated for large-breed puppies. It’s important to follow feeding guidelines to support healthy growth and development. We provide a sample of the food your puppy has been eating to help with the transition. We feed Purple Diamond Puppy Food.

    All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health screenings, including tests for hip and elbow dysplasia, eye certifications (CERF), and genetic testing for common Labrador diseases such as Exercise-Induced Collapse (EIC) and Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). All of the results are submitted to OFA for certification.

    You will receive a litter certificate showing the pedigree of your puppy’s lineage. For the official pedigree, you will need to register your puppy with the AKC. This is important for those interested in tracking their dog's heritage or participating in activities like showing or hunting.
